*Carmen Chan: suspender libre tránsito puede salvar vidas en zonas de riesgo*
La diputada Carmen Chan de Nueva República junto a sus compañeros de Bloque el día de ayer anunció que presentaría un Proyecto de Acuerdo a la Asamblea Legislativa para autorizar al presidente de la República que decrete toque de queda temporal.
La diputada advirtió que está medida preventiva no es ninguna ocurrencia, más bien en varios países se ha estado implementado con éxito, y nosotros no debemos perder ni un solo minuto en esta lucha contra el Covid-19.
“Los diputados de Nueva República -destacó- con esta propuesta, buscamos proteger la vida y la salud de todo el personal sanitario que actualmente se encuentra prestando sus servicios, de una manera solidaria, comprometida, entregada, abnegada y responsable.
“Ese gran trabajo de muchos héroes nacionales, amerita que como país les permitamos seguir realizando su labor y esto implica accionar para que la transmisión sostenida se retarde. Lo mismo ocurre para otros funcionarios públicos que laboran en seguridad, tránsito, la atención de
servicios básicos, entre otros”, apuntó.
La diputada aseguró que la autorización temporal para suspender la libertad de tránsito y reunión, sería un salvavidas del gobierno que sólo podría ser utilizado bajo criterios técnicos del Poder Ejecutivo a través del Ministerio de Salud y el Ministerio de Seguridad.
“Las autoridades deben tomar posiciones claras y contundentes para enfrentar un episodio de salud pública que amenaza la vida humana de sus habitantes”, advirtió.
Estas medida puede salvar vidas, en Nueva República estamos convencidos de eso.
Importante considerar:
1. El proyecto de acuerdo legislativo no requiere convocatoria del Poder Ejecutivo en caso de ser presentado.
2. Puede ser iniciado por uno o varios diputados. Se debe conocer en la sesión siguiente después de presentado en la Asamblea Legislativa y requiere 38 votos para su aprobación.
3. En caso de aprobarse el Poder Ejecutivo podrá emitir un decreto con conocimiento técnico y científico, para combatir la propagación del Coronavirus en zonas de riesgo.
