Martes 28 de abril, 2020. Al 28 de abril se registran 705 casos confirmados por COVID-19, con un rango de edad de uno a 87 años. Se trata de 336 mujeres y 369 hombres, de los cuales 636 son costarricenses y 69 extranjeros.
Se contabilizan casos positivos en 60 cantones de las siete provincias, sumándose Abangares a la lista de cantones con casos positivos por COVID-19. Por edad tenemos: 632 adultos, 38 adultos mayores y 35 menores de edad.
A este momento se han descartado 8.356 personas, 306 se registran como recuperadas con un rango de edad de uno a los 86 años, de las cuales 146 son mujeres y 160 son hombres, por edad tenemos: 278 adultos, 15 adultos mayores y 13 menores de edad. Se contabilizan casos recuperados en 51 cantones de las siete provincias.
Se registran seis lamentables fallecimientos, todos hombres con un rango de edad de 45 a 87 años.
16 personas se encuentran hospitalizadas, de las cuales ocho de ellas se encuentran en cuidados intensivos con un rango de edad de los 49 a los 76 años.
